Coffee with a view

The Greek Parliament and winter sky

Every time I go to Athens (or any big city), no matter how many hours I've travelled or how tiring the trip was, I always relax and feel...happy. I love the rhythms of the city (when on vacation), the theaters, the crowd, the civilization. However, when it comes to having to work there I prefer my beautiful, smaller, 'uncivilized' hometown. Over there no matter how busy one is, he/she will find the time to see some friends, family and maybe...meet someone new :)

Have a great Monday and week

I've never been to Athens. But I used to have coffee in a shop below my offices run by a Greek family and they had this photograph of the hills and Parthenon covered with a smattering of snow. It looked so odd, I always imagined it hot! One day . . although Santorini is somewhere I HAVE to go. Oh and my daughgter 'raved' about some iced coffee drink that's popular there. Can you remember what it's called?
