Thursday again (amazing how time flies by) and I am thinking about animals...
At first I thought I'd post pictures of my cat and dog but I already did in previous posts (I put the links here due to relevance on the subject).
Then I thought of how animals, and the way we treat them, can define who we are, as people and societies. Our character can be 'mapped' by the way we behave towards other living beings on this planet (a thing natural and sad if you consider how the situation is today). Brain or no brain, opposable thumb or not every living creature deserves a chance and if we want to call ourselves human beings we've got to take care of the 'chain' that holds us together!
Then a song came to mind..."do you know you make me cry....do you know you made me die...it's a lovely thing that we have, the animal, the animal instinct" (sing along if you like Cranberries :-).
I was going to post this song here but then it hit me...SAVAGE GARDEN!!
Happy Theme Thursday everyone...

Hi Marianna. Nice take on the theme. And Mom likes Savage Garden!
Love the animal print graphic!
nice graphic and play on the theme this week.
I too wondered about how we treat animals.
Hey all. I forgot to mention where that graphic is from, so I'll do it here. I found it in the 'encyclopedia britannica' site-blog...take a look if you want. I like the pic cause it had farm animals on it lol

Now I can't get that song out of my head *lol*
Bon nuit Candie, Mariane and Dot-Com!! It is funny how you all three comment on the song! Now on my count we sing..."the animal instinct in me" lol

happy Theme Thursday
:-)
We try not to talk about Savage Garden here in Australia.
Yes, we need to keep the links strong. Loved the print and song.
Hullo Marianna,
Cool blog.
And it was fun to read those six facts about you.
I'm glad I came here.
I enjoyed the video, I am not sure if I have ever heard that song and I do not think I have ever seen that movie.
The animal graphic was great. I loved the colors. Just something about them was great.
Thank you for the wonderful post.
I don't know Savage Garden, so that was nice, to hear new music (to me).
Indeed we have to take care of the chain! What a great way to put it!
Oh Marianna fine argument that one!
We all on this fantastic white and blue sphere are kind of envelop of that mysterious obsession we use to call “life”. What we need is stop to think human as better than other forms, the facts don’t reveal it !
Lovely
A very thoughtful post Marianna- so true what you say- we can learn so much from animals too- they are precious and need our care.
Kris: I am curious now...why?! :-)
Ronda: Thanks and yes we do :-)
Auntie: Thank you for your kind words!
